At Files NC we process your personal data to operate the platform and provide our services. By accepting our terms you confirm that you understand this policy, including how and why we use your information.

  • What you provide: when you register and create your account (email, name and, for sellers, store and payment details).
  • Automatic: IP address, device type, browser and usage patterns, through cookies and similar technologies.
  • From third parties: payment processors and service providers that help us operate.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide and improve our services and personalize your experience.
  • Process purchases, downloads and payments to sellers.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse and protect the security of the platform.
  • Send you transactional messages and, with your consent, marketing communications.

3. Communications

We send you emails related to your account and your purchases (necessary for the service). Marketing emails require your consent and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share information only when necessary to operate (payment processors, file storage), to comply with the law, or with your consent. Aggregated or anonymized information may be used for analytics.

5. Security

We apply industry standards to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method is 100% foolproof, so your password and good practices are key too.

6. Retention

We keep your data for the duration of our business relationship and for as long as it is necessary for legal or security purposes. You may request its deletion as described below.
