Terms and conditions

Last updated: May 2026. This is a working version of the platform while in beta and may be updated before launch.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By browsing and using Files NC you accept all of the terms set out here. If you do not agree, we ask that you refrain from using the services. Files NC may modify these terms; changes take effect once published, and continued use implies acceptance.

2. Your account

  • You must be over 18 (minors only with the permission and supervision of a responsible adult).
  • Provide truthful information; false identities are not allowed.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account and for protecting your password.
  • Discrimination and offensive, defamatory or misleading content are not tolerated.

3. Terms for buyers

  • Treat others with respect; do not share other users' private information.
  • Payments are processed through PayPal or other available methods, which may include provider fees.
  • If a product cannot be downloaded or arrives incorrectly, contact the selling store or Files NC.

4. Terms for sellers

  • You are responsible for the legality of the files you publish and for holding the rights to them.
  • Commission: 10% + $0.45 USD per successful sale.
  • Withdrawals: you can request a withdrawal of your balance to your PayPal account once it reaches a minimum of $10 USD.
  • Upload your files packaged in .ZIP format. For security reasons, .RAR files are not allowed.
  • Files NC may request refunds in the event of download failures or incorrect products.
  • Comply with local laws when selling internationally.

5. Refunds and returns

Because of the nature of digital products, once a file has been downloaded it is not eligible for a refund, except in cases of a download failure, an incorrect file or a duplicate purchase. In those cases, contact the selling store or Files NC and we will resolve it.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you publish (store name, descriptions, images, reviews, etc.). By publishing it, you grant Files NC a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and promote it on the platform and its distribution channels. You represent that you hold all rights to that content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.

7. Intellectual property

If you believe that content infringes your rights, report it through our contact page with the information needed to review it and, where appropriate, remove it.

8. Warranties and limitation of liability

Files NC acts as an intermediary between independent sellers and buyers. We do not produce or inspect the files being sold and make no warranties as to their quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Any claim related to a product must be directed to the selling store.

9. Account termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings or by contacting us. Files NC may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, generally with prior notice except in cases of serious or repeated violations.

10. Changes to the terms

We will update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.
