License terms

When you buy a file on Files NC you get a license to use it under the terms of each product. Here's a plain-language explanation of what you can and can't do.

What you CAN do

• Download the file and use it for your laser-cutting projects.
• Cut and manufacture physical products from the design.
• Personal use: for your own projects and gifts.
• Commercial use (when the product allows it): sell the physical products you make with the design, in unlimited quantities.

What you CAN'T do

• Resell, share, give away or redistribute the digital file (the .ZIP or the vectors), or upload it to another platform.
• Claim the design as your own or register it under your name.
• Use the design for illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.

Personal vs. commercial

Each product states whether its license is for personal use or also commercial use. If you have questions about a specific design, check its page or write to us before buying.

The creator's rights

Designs are the property of each seller. Buying a file does not transfer the intellectual property to you: you only get the usage rights described above.
